L.E. Kaufman Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Wyoming, Michigan.
L.E. Kaufman Golf Course first opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Bruce Matthews.
This municipal course was built on flat terrain. It's an easy course to walk. The well-maintained fairways provide generous landing areas, and the greens are fast. Several creeks flowing throughout the course will come into play on many holes, so intelligent course management is the key to scoring low.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,812 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,202 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 538 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 167 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 464 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 16, a 538 yard par-5.

I enjoyed this course, great layout for a city course. Holes 1,10, and 18 are in terrible shape everytime I play there due to the river over flowing. Besides that great course!

This is one of the best kept secrets in Grand Rapids, Mich. The course is well groomed and the greens are ample and roomy without too much level changes. It is not for the weak minded or an idle stroll. Longer than normal holes. Trees, swamps and a creek offer unique challenges.
